Essex-based alternative artist tmdistant has unleashed his latest offering, ‘west end wedding’. It’s a vibrant combination of indie and pop, underpinned by stunning production (courtesy of Song Higginson). His sound is infectious and varied, but always driven by cleverly constructed lyrics. “This is my depiction of waiting for someone and they don't see you how you see them, it's the romanticisation of wanting someone that doesn't want you,” he explains. “Some, if not all of us can agree that there has been a time in our lives when we've chased someone and they go to anyone and everything else other than you.” The newcomer is headlining Canal Bar @ Dingwalls on July 28th, 2023. -Dan Peeke
